Tricks question threw Nova, but she flicked her eyes up to the sky in a moment of thought. When she'd come up with a good enough answer, her spectral eyes turned back to the smaller man and she smiled.

Finally, Trick gave her the answer she was looking for: it was the alphas throwing him off that was the cause of his irritations. His own ranting set off her own, and soon her mind flooded with comments. Eventually, she settled on one that was not so harsh.
