It had been warm and cosy inside - it could not be doubted that for the first few moments after his birth, Aries had wished he could go back. He squealed and wriggled, but once he reached his mothers side, the boy fell silent for a moment. However this was soon broken once he became aware of a lump next to him. No, now two lumps - one either side of him. They were like him, weren't they? The ones who had been inside?

Aries decided to give a little test. He rolled his head and nudged first the one on his left, and then the one on his right. Would they move? The words spoken to him were not recognised, for the pup was still deaf and blind. He could not see, but he could feel. And he used this to reach his mother's teats. Eagerly the boy latched on and savoured the warm milk flowing from them.
If I cannot bend Heaven,
I will raise Hell.
