She'd gotten a fairly good grip on the back of his thigh, but this Redshank fool was still trying to go after Rannoch?  Really?  As he tried to lunge, she bit harder, holding her ground as best she could.  Once he seemed to have given up on that for the second, she only barely released pressure and that was only so she could snarl and slightly shake her head to warn him that if he tried that funny business again, he was surrendering a good chunk of his leg.  She was holding on far tighter than one would in a spar -- he was prey, and she treated him like it.  It probably hurt quite a bit, though she wasn't sure she'd quite broken the skin yet.  There were more important things to focus on.

Though she wasn't in the position to kill (at least not quickly) she was definitely in one to cripple, and she had no moral qualms doing so.  Her actions from here on would depend on Redshank and Rannoch.
