Perhaps his prayers instead summoned the devil.  Or not, but it did happen that Treason was keen to hunt him down and see how the recent upheavals had effected him.  She'd given him some space at first, watching from a distance, but Terance's ability to at the very least put up a neutral facade had improved, so instead she needed to go poke the bear directly.  Perhaps if it was just her and it seemed as though she cared he'd reveal a few secrets -- or at least that's what she was hoping.

She followed his track through the territory and popped onto the scene just as he looked up.  Had he been dozing off or something?  She eyeballed him a moment just to make sure, then dipped her head, Sir?  Treason was being a little bit more formal than she had been recently when they were equals, partially due to his promotion, partially due to the fact she knew she very well could be pushing a few limits if he didn't crack like an egg.
