Sawtooth Spire decisions

He'd decided to stray from the forested refuge to battle the winds crossing over the mountains; looking for something yet nothing in particular. The sun was striving to pierce the snow laded clouds but to little avail. Small spots filtered through the low lying clouds that covered the stone in layers of slick dew. He called a soft screech. A mating call in vain. He was yet to find there was a lack of strigine creatures. His wide eyes cast about, searching. A wolf rose up from the rocks, including the avian. He didn't know wolves could climb so high.

He swooped down, silent save for a beat of wings to speed up. He passed low and close to the wolf, close enough that the soft air from his glide could be felt upon the fur over the lupine rump. He rose and wheeled, turning back to pass another inspection of the creature. This time, however, he opted to perch upon a rock and lock the wolf in his gaze.
He cooed softly, seeking reaction from the creature. He stretched out, beating his wings before nestling down again. Watching the wolf.
