The wolf didn't seem to be rushing towards him with a flash of those nasty teeth; instead utters soft-spoken words that he could make no sense of. He did have the idea, though, that he wasn't about to be breakfast for the wolf. He hopped off the rock, now peering up at the creature with curiosity.

He hooted this time, a low, brisk sound. His beak clicked together, talons curling slightly. His head canted to hold the opposite direction, wondering what wolves actually did.
Well, he knew they were easily annoyed. He enjoyed that.
