From there, though, she honestly didn't know what to say.  She was trained to be a soldier, to be hostile as needed, to kill.  She hadn't stuck around at home to pay attention to other family members starting new families, and she'd pretty much scorned the non-alpha pups at Sunspire.  It probably would have done her some good if she had not done one of those things.  But here was Terance right in front of her, and both of them seemed a little bit confused.  When he bumped her chin, her tongue poked out, giving a quick lick to the top of his muzzle before she slipped half a step closer, and then there was no distance. She had her nose buried in the fur of his neck again.
