"No." He tilted his head to her, seeing if the reason she' asked was on her face. Hopefully, she hadn't lost anyone.
"If they were missed, I think they would've been found. The bones are under the snow, meaning they died before winter. Probably a lone wolf that got in a fight with the wrong animal."
He turned a sympathetic gaze to the remains yet it was the hard truth. Lone wolves that didn't have family in the area were often killed with no one to bury the body. Sometimes, you'd get religious or sympathetic wolves willing to do so. A wolf like him? Certainly not.
