the shock surprised him. cupid was a quiet man that one could easily look past if they didn’t use a keen eye. but that was only when it was dark. out here in the broad daylight, amongst a valley of color, his dark pelt stood out. but then again, the stranger did seem to be in his own little world.

“is that why you came?” he gestures to the flowers between his teeth. “you a medic?” everything acted with a purpose, that’s what he was taught. the prospect of doing something as simple as picking flowers without a cause didn’t cross his mind.
