Although Charon did not think Hydra's words about his doubts were true or that he had acted wrong, for he still felt that many of his family had failed him and that they should trust his decisions as Alpha -- Speedy being one of them -- he kept quiet for now. It was all water under the bridge in the end, so he just nodded when she asked if he realised now that he was wrong.

Charon just wanted to see his dream come into fruition; for selfish needs, perhaps, for Hydra was his daughter and a product of himself. Her success would mean as much as his own, and she had enough friends across the valleys to be able to manipulate them all; willingly or hard-handed.
