He spotted her before that chuff and she was...well, she was cute honestly. Perhaps he was biased in a way because she looked like him a bit and he thought he was fairly good looking. Cockiness aside, she had called out and it was only fair to stop staring like a creep and answer her back.

A chuff escaped him to alert her to his presence a few yards away. His body posture was casual as he waited for a response from her.
