They're like little green lizard-ish animals with scale-y skin and they live inside of shells, like this," Fin explained, once again proving to me that it is freaking hard to describe things in nature and I'm thankful we have Google images, "When they're scared, they can pull their heads and legs into the shell and it'll protect them from getting hurt 'cause the shell is so strong."

Not realizing another duh moment was likely upcoming (because how would Sugar know what a lizard is if she didn't even know of turtles yet), she just peered down into the hole Sugar had carved, wondering if there might be more things buried in there.
