Second damage roll! 1 - 11, Rose got a 2! 9 health left!

It had felt like a lifetime since he had felt such a rush. Eye brilliantly lit with life as he focused on the beast ahead. He paid no mind as Connor joined in on the fray, pushing past the massive cinnamon man who attempted to shield him from further damage, and charged forward back to his target with hunger painting his expression. Pale lips pulling back in a viciously sharp grimace as he lept and held onto the blubber beast's neck from below, just under the tusks as to eliminate it from the threat.

With the other two who joined the battle - despite his inner rage toward the starry pelted woman, he desired nothing less than to upkeep his promise to protect the pack. That alone fed his strength despite the injuries, despite pain and fatigue in his muscles. With a mouth full of the sea monster's flesh, she shook his head viciously to and fro, sawing into the neck as he jerked and used gravity to his advantage and the faltering strength of the beast now that there were three against one.

Eventually, his toes touched the ground again, digging in as he poured all his remaining strength into pulling against the throat of the beast until finally - snap. The tension broke, sending him stumbling back as he struggled to keep his balance with a piece of the beast's flesh held tightly in his vice grip.

With a lifeless stare, he looked on as the thing flailed its final movements, bleeding from the last wound Rose had inflicted in a gruesome amount as its brown hide began to turn red. It was only a matter of seconds now, especially with the other two adding their own damage until the giant fell. A lifeless corpse on the beach.

Spitting out the piece he had managed to take, Rose turned his back on the scene and with a steady limp from nearly all limbs, walked away. His job was done. Behind him, a single bloody print trailed with every step he took as the rain slowly washed the crimson river on his thigh. It's been a while since he truly felt like himself again.
