This trip couldn't have been any better than this. Cupid had really taken his old life for granted. He was born to love a nomadic life: living by his own rules, going wherever he wanted, having no destination in life. That was what he wanted.

He looked at Mal, then scanned the snow-covered hollow. This world was empty. No amount of wishing would change that. As long as the earth was barren, he would have to stay confined to the mountain.
