Revan was right - Venamis did not want to be found, therefore it was a waste of everyone's time to try and convert him. Still, the thought of it made her incredibly sad. He already felt abandoned, so the fae actually didn't want to give up on him so quickly, but she owed him nothing. If her kind words could not convince him, what more did she have? She could hardly force him to be a good person and stick with his family - which, let's be honest, wasn't great to him either. The thoughts choked her up - made her feel helpless.
