He feels for her especially since she’s been the one to spend so much time with him. Though, he treads carefully since he’s not sure if she’ll shun him, or thank him, for taking an interest in helping.

He comes a hair closer. “Are you alright?” He asks, voice barely above a whisper. Then at his best to lighten the mood he smiles at her. “Chasing your demons again then?”
