His tail swayed softly, thinking about how he would plan this out, and what Donovan might plan.
But when they glimpsed the buck, Derg's stomach sank.
Bucks were wild, ferocious, and could gut them all. Even with a whole pack it was a risk, but three?
His ears slicked back, listening to Donovan's instruction.

They started moving towards it, Derg waiting for his cue to launch the attack. He would have to try and take out a foreleg, Nem would probably go for a rear leg, and Donovan would go for the neck. At least, that's what Derg had in his mind.
