Once the leaf was pressed to her paw, she dared look at it again. With the paste and greenery covering it, and the pain slowly but surely lessening, perhaps she didn't have to chop her leg off in case the wound might scare her. Of course, she was exaggerating. It looked like nature had infected her, slowly overtaking her - a queen fae becoming one with the earth.
