Upon his movement closer, Umbra narrowed her icy eyes upon him and let out a snap of her jaws. She said nothing on the matter, but let it be a warning to him for a line not to be crossed. As this was their territory, she did not want him to get any closer even if she was in the moment on friendly-terms, but that can change if the man desired to push it.

She watched him in silence for a moment more, before answering, "leadership is handsome, but if they can beat me as well." 

Someone to not only beat her, but could tie wolves together in a bond united. It was attractive to be an Alpha of a group, the pinnacle of power itself, for a stranger of the lands could easily beat another, but could not as easily make a pack to lead.
