Perhaps, she should have simply hidden away in the corner of her own den breathing in lavender and hoping that it helped… except lavender did nothing compared to his comfort.

She sensed the shift in mood, albeit slight, when she did mention how she had defended herself, and for a brief moment, a flash of pride did cross her features. She nodded, uncertain of herself.
