She watched him closely and he grew a bit shy, one ear laid to his skull as he tried to reorient himself. He wasn't used to be so closely watched. He was usually the one listening or paying attention. This was a new experience, and he wasn't entirely comfortable, but he tried not to let it show. There were flowers. He tried hard to show her. He wasn't an artist by any means, but their mother had shown them how to put pictures on rocks with squished plants and water. He hoped he was showing her something fun.
