Ouroboros Spine hymn

chickadee had been in moonglow almost a month, and for most of that time she'd lived with @Kivaluk. 
over the course of several days, she had arranged the rocks out front better and put down a sort of welcome-mat she'd gathered from the soft inner fluff of milkweed plants. her own crude attempts at curing hides hung here and there from the trees nearest the den.
today she lazed in the sunlight, half-asleep as she listened to cardinals sing overhead. summer was coming, and with it maybe she would ask her roomie on a hunting trip.
