Ravensblood Forest repetition

Worry had driven Svalinn this far out from the Sound. Phaska and Stelmaria were no-shows at the agreed upon meeting place, and he had expected them at the beginning of spring. Though it pained him to abandon his post, he figured he could expel some pent-up negativity via a bit of scouting.

Upon crossing the river that split the coast, the aurous trawler decided to call off his search, suddenly paranoid that the girls had returned to the Sound at the exact time he left to find them. Still damp and surly, he ventured deep into the forest for a hunt and a nap before resuming his trip home. Hopes to eat were dashed, however, when Svalinn’s ears turned at the sound of rocks falling and splashing. He ventured towards it, scowling.

There was a wolf there -- her fur color difficult to determine in the dusklight -- but the bite of poisonous green eyes were impossible to miss. He looked her up and down.
