Barrier Gulch dex, sin, dex

S'ari had spent most of the day resting in the shallows of the stream back at the Ravine, staying out of the heat. Now it was early evening and she was dying to stretch her legs. So here she was at the Gulch, and she honestly could not remember if she'd been here before. She'd been so many places in this desert, over such a short period of time, that they were beginning to blend together.

And here, becoming more and more common, was the scent of Wolf. It seemed the Coyotes would not have control of this land for much longer. This did not bother S'ari, but the others... the others were more temperamental when it came to their bigger cousins. Really, it was all how you spoke to them. Wolves could be reasoned with. Not all, but most of them. Most that S'ari had met, anyway.

Today she did not feel like speaking. Not right away. So, instead, she hummed a tune, loudly enough to echo about the canyon walls, and alert the wolf that someone was here.
