Her eyes had yet to turn to the doctor, or the other patient in the room. They hadn’t left the boy once since the moment she found him again. She was a little afraid that if she did, he would be taken again. 

Look what those fuckers did to him, she hissed angrily, shaking her head. Medusa seethed and stewed, blind to the fact that she cared so much for a being she had refused to claim when first he came into the world.
