She paused, recalling her last encounter with Reverie and her band of guards. I didn’t know exactly where they were heading, she admitted, her voice quieter now. Except west. Toward the mountains, I think. She didn’t say much, and I didn’t press her. Perhaps I should have.

Morwenna’s gaze returned to Sunspot, her expression carefully neutral but thoughtful. I can see why you’re here. She’s lucky to have a brother who would follow her, even when she’s running headlong into danger. A small pause, then a slight tilt of her head. Do you think you’ll catch her in time?
