The presence of a pup in Blackfeather Woods, one not of her mother's blood, excited her. Sure, she would love to see the Melonii family continue on, but she would rather see the pack expand in other ways first, before the Melonii blood was passed on to yet another generation. She was far from her first heat cycle (thank the Daedra), but that didn't mean she couldn't practice on the newest addition to their pack first.
Qilaq, or as Damien insisted on her being called, Xivilai, was sickly, malnourished and hungry. Nemesis' dugs had started to leak, but they were far from ready to feed the hungry pup. A clump of borage leaves, tattered and dried, but still able to be used, were clasped in her mouth as she traveled to where Nemesis resided. She would insist on the adoptive mother moving her and the pup to the Glen, where she could easily treat the pup, as well as fulfill the Glen's true purpose.
