The shadow lifted her crown, allowing Dacio to squish himself beneath her dark chin and fit himself snugly between her forelimbs. He scooted between them, trailing himself along until his nose found the dense warmth of her chest fur. Delighted with his find, the ashen youngster thrust his blunt little muzzle among the Heda's dark pelt.
Safe and secure in her embrace, sleep found him swiftly. Dacio cooed happily as he was swept away from reality and into the realm of dreams.
