Elixir was her usual happy self, drifting farther from the band as they made themselves comfortable on the mountain. Her naivety was something she hadn’t shown for a few days or so she had thought. Wondering from the band can leave her helpless, but she did it anyway. With the band not in sight or ear shot she decided to have an adventure down the mountain to see what was available.

The wolfdog started down the side of the mountain careful with her paw placement. She was wondering around where it looked as though a fire had taken place. It was dark and the trees were stripped of their greenery, every bit of nature was a shell of what it used to be. Her brow furrowed as she thought about what could have happened or did happen. A shudder came over and she shook her body. It was an eerie place to be which her mind told her to get out but her paws told her to keep going. Unfortunately she listened to her paws instead of her mind.
