terance was still not the biggest fan of dens. he liked being able to sleep underneath the stars, especially on clear nights. but he wasn't stupid, and the winter season of course called for him to find himself some sort of makeshift den. upstream from treason, actually, and a little while back, terance had dug out an already made foxhole under some large tree roots-- making a pretty decent wolf den. he didn't prefer it, but it was warmer than the snow covered ground.

he was making his way from his den downstream, accidentally meeting treason at her own claimed piece of property... though terance regarded it sort of gingerly, figuring the deputy would be pretty territorial. he eyed her curiously, noting the cold, small carcass at her paws. his tail waved amiably, but he didn't move to join her or anything. "hey, treason," he greeted instead, head tilting gently to one side.
