she was pretty neat, for a stranger that he'd only just met on the coast. she hadn't really pushed him around the way that others had, and she had seemed fairly confident in her claim of being a warrior for her pack. with the way that she was built, illidan didn't find that difficult to believe. the boy had anticipated all female warriors to appear more like his mother; wiry and savage. instead, the girl was filled out impressively and held the dominance of a leonine prowler.

the young ghost had anticipated that she would have attacked him first, but it seemed that she had opted for a defensive stance. that meant that he would get a chance to test opening attacks on her, which seemed like a pretty good deal. illidan lowered his skull and slunk forward a few feet until he could see the glimmer of her blue eyes. he moved with the same precision as a gunslinger, ready for their final shootout. once he had found comfort in his own limbs, illidan dove toward her and aimed to strike her cheek.
