Cedar Sweep I've been burning

She had hidden herself away for the duration of her heat, waited for the burning in her loins to fade away before she began to freely wander the territory. Today she was feeling very energetic and managed to patrol the South and West borders, marking her scent to help in the claiming of the sweep. That was when she heard the deep, short grunts and pained bellows of a bull elk. Immediately she headed toward it and found a trail of blood, following that with ease. Within a few minutes she found a large bull Elk struggling through the snow with a shredded apart hind leg but when it spotted her, it bellowed angrily and turned displaying a large rack of antlers. Knowing this could be successful she called for the small group currently forming Kamiki and circled the Elk, keeping it nearby.
