Their leader gave his orders before taking his leave, making it clear that the stranger would not be permitted to enter their territory today but leaving his fate up to Aries. With the opportunity for dealing with his packmate's family member not granted to the beast, he felt no reason to stay here any longer, but he didn't wander far; he hid in the shadows and waited to see what Aries would do with his orders, part of him honestly curious about what the other man would choose and part of him wanting to make sure the stranger was, in fact, handled. Once business was taken care of, he would leave his hiding spot and continue on his patrol.
