Blackfeather Woods to thirst, to crave

Oh he was aware, he knew of the thing that lurked around the corner but chose to keep to himself as to avoid any uncessary frustation and further interaction with another talkative being. As he continued forward, the paladin's ears were tipped back to keep somewhat an idea of what that other figure was doing... 

A growl alerted him.

Protecting his tail, it immediately coiled itself under the goliath, all the while he whipped around with an open maw to snap and defend the one who dared to attack him in such a cowardly way. A growl tore through his own being in response, gums exposed in all their furious glory. The stranger's teeth tore his snout, a small price to pay on an already damaged side as he aimed a strike in retaliation at any exposed flesh that he could grab. 

Whoever this guy was, Rosencrantz was in no mood to play around.
