Instead of answering his question about her intentions, the cream-pale she-wolf stepped forward with what seemed like malicious intent, making her sharp white ivories visible to him and all. Looks like this was going to turn into a nasty fight sooner than he expected it to, so it was time to get into position and prepare himself.

She was much smaller than Āzon and therefore, much more agile and swift on her feet. The sire would need to be extra attentive of her movements — ecspecially considering the possibility of being thrown off the mountain's ledge. And if such a thing happened, there would be no turning back. Lowering his body and pushing a hind leg backwards in the earth, Āzon tightened his shoulders and bellowed a deep snarl towards his opponent that told them to come forth. If it was a fight she desired, then there was no point in backing down.

Yet....things begun to take a perplexing turn. Rather than attacking Āzon, the strange female stopped in her tracks for a few seconds as if contemplating her own thoughts; "Was she suddenly changing her mind? But why now?" He mused silently. Then, out of nowhere, she'd start speaking. 'Why aren't you scared of me!?', her words were incoherent, almost...desperate sounding.... Āzon ears would then flick in alarm when the fae's voice began to rise into a snarl of venom. She wasn't attacking, but was instead yelling at him for not.....seeing her as a threat?

What in the fuck?

Eyebrows furrowed ontop of his odd, blinking eyes while he just stood there and stared at the dame in shock — confusion. "Wh-What....What in the blue hell are TALKIN' about woman!?" The brute's head shook vigorously as if trying to process it all. Āzon didn't know whether to feel threatened, vexed, or simply confused by the whole situation, but was just stuck in a deadlock of not knowing what to do. He just stood there with a look of frustrated bewilderment.

If they weren't going to attack him, then neither was he — and whatever angry ramblings the young woman barked at him would just leave Āzon at a standstill. Although, it almost felt like she wasn't screaming out of aggression towards him. Rather...it seemed like more of a cry of pain....
