Hideaway Strath (don't fear) the reaper

She managed to make it back within the safe territory bounds of the Strath, but it had been more exasperating than it should have been. With temperatures beginning to plummet close to the single digits in the night, the frigid air was enough to keep even the hardiest Winter creatures tucked warmly away. It was absolutely freezing on this night, but her blood felt like it was on fire in her veins.
 
Her entire immune system was disoriented. Regurgitating what she had of the hare laced with toxins, the disgorging did little to quell her symptoms. It somehow amplified the side effects. Her body digested the bulk of the antigenic poison and it was only a matter of time to naturally clear it out… or perhaps succumb to it. The Mackenzie did not want to die on this hill (figuratively and literally) being poisoned from a coyote of all things. Her first instinct was to purge herself and her second instinct was to find the resident medic of the Saints.
 
It was Dove who was a well-known medic. Her quarters were situated somewhere in the center of the territory, to which it seemed like a grand feat for Zsuzsa to reach from this distance even though it was not difficult in the least to. It was challenging enough for her to follow the river from Sun Mote Copse to where the waters cut through the Strath.

Speaking of which, why were the glowing particles found in the warmer months of Sun Mote Copse found here now?
 
Zsuzsa shook her head, attempting to rid her vision of the hallucinating glowing objects as she slouched down by the bank of the river. Her abdomen still felt like she was gut-checked hard, as she sucked in her sides in pain. She wasn’t sure if she could make it to Dove’s area in one quick stride as it hurt just too much. She panted, not wanting to delay this any longer but couldn't find the means to continue on.
