Potema nodded towards Nemesis, barely able to find the dark-furred pup amidst her adoptive mother's fur. She dropped the borage leaves, nudging them towards the new mother. This is borage. It should help you produce more milk, at least until Qilaq ready to eat meat. Letting Nemesis chew up the leaves, Potema turned her attention to the small creature nosing its way through fur to find food. Potema picked the girl up gently, feeling strangely uncomfortable as she brought Qilaq towards her.

She examined the pup closely, checking her for any obvious signs of sickness. She couldn't determine how old the pup was, but she supposed that Qilaq was 2 months...or something. Ugh, she didn't know how to deal with pups.
