All Welcome
After @Amber returns!@Dawn @Grayday you're welcome too!Sunny stands and begins to make attempts to actually walk!

Ever since his eyes had opened Sunny had waited for them to clear up enough to see more than blurry shapes. Now as he opened them after a long nap, he could see clearly! Half walking Half crawling he moved in front of the wolf beside him. By her scent he realized this was his momma. "Guooooorgggle!" The vocalization was filled with surprise and pleasure. His mamma was huge! He sat on his hind end and merely stared at her, as if when he would blink she would disappear.

He remembered that there always seemed to be a similar sized body next to him, fighting him for the best source of the sweet white fluid that kept his tummy from hurting. He shifted to the side in an attempt to peer at his sister around the big head of his momma, and fell over. Apparently he was a bit topheavy or something. He made the first attempt ever at growling, the sound all high pitched and raspy was a pretty pathetic noise compared to the ones momma and daddy had made sometimes. He finally spotted his sister squirming against his mom and blinked once. She was..he couldn't put a word to it, but knew he loved her as much as his momma. calling to her with a plaintive squeal, he stood up. For the first time his belly left the ground completely and he teetered on unstable legs.

He squeaked and turned his wobbly head to stare at his momma, as if to say "Look what I can do!" and promptly collapsed. His legs had not liked the shift in weight at all. Huffing a sigh he shoved himself up yet again, this time having less difficulty then before. Standing still for a few moments he allowed his legs to get steadier, before he lifted a leg and placed it down further away from his body. He did the same thing with a hind leg and gasped as he almost fell again. He did the same with the opposite legs and once again fell down. Satisfied with the days progress so far, he dragged himself forward and tucked his nose into Amber's belly, eating (drinking?) the food she offered.

As restless as Amber was beginning to feel, all cooped up in the den with her cubs, she was thrilled to see that Sunny and Dawn were developing at what she assumed was a normal pace. Each day her love for them doubled, and she lavished all the care and understanding in the world down on them with soft words and gentle touches.

When this day, her white pawed son shuffled in front of her paws, Amber lifted her head from a halfassed nap and smiled warmly as his baby babble.

"Good morning my wonderful little prince. Talkative today, aren't we?"

His crystal gaze bore into her, and Amber reached her muzzle out to nuzzle at the boy regardless of the slightly creepy look, rumbling happily deep in her chest --something that likely shook her core and, through such, the smoky little girl at her belly.

The most interesting part of today, however, seemed yet to pass. Wobbling to his paws, Sunny looked curiously for Dawn first, and leaned over much too far; before Amber could reach out to steady him, the boy toppled over and expressed his unhappiness with a high pitched growl.

Then, however, her little boy stood. It wasnt immediate, and her sapphire eyes watched with a mix of unconditional pride and overprotective fear as his legs held him. Licking her upturned lips in masked anxiety, she fought the urge to scoop him into her grasp safely like when he was a newborn.

The pale muzzled boy turned to boastto her, but in the same moments his legs refused to hold and he toppled to the earth. A strangled whine broke through her throat, and Amber reached out to use her muzzle, helping him and steadying him as needed. Despite this, she was grinning from ear to ear, tail wagging behind her and thumping against the den walls.

                                            "Keep going Sunny, good job!"

After both walking and falling, the eldest child decided now was as good a time as any for a meal, nestling into the curve of her belly and latching onto a teat. Again, a rumble of pride and joy trembled through her body as she swiped her tongue over the back of her son in congratulations.

Dawn, being quite a bit weaker than her brother, would always be slightly behind him in terms of development. Her eyes had opened, blue and curious, but no image they received yet was clear enough to be definitive. Mostly she recognized the blob that was Sunny and the giant shadow that was her mother. Looking at her father was like observing a ballooned version of her brother, so on principle she didn't yet realize that they were separate figures; rather, her brother shrunk and grew at will. And as amazing as that sounded, it wasn't something she felt concerned about.

Everything to her was so far unavoidable, and therefore supposed to happen.

Walking would come second, too. Her legs weren't strong enough to carry her yet, but instinctively she would try to stand whenever the feeling struck her. It was always unsuccessful, but she was quite good at crawling, so often reverted to the task she was best as when she failed to get to her feet. She pulled herself forward now, anxiously whining as she aimed for the blinding beyond that was the den mouth.

After settling into a steady suckling he felt his mother's tongue rasp over his fur. He looked up at her, and in a very ungentlemanly fashion he burped causing a bubble of milk to expand and explode out of his mouth and all over his muzzle and chest. He blinked with surprise and then chortled, his laughter shaking his whole body as his eyes squintd shut. Yes indeed, he was definitely a boy. Soon he took a breath and sighed, ending his laughing fit and turning to look at Dawn, as she squirmed toward the opening of the den. He began to follow her, half squirming half shoving himself forward, in what would be his awkward way of walking until his legs strenghtened even more.

Her little boy looked up to her and, though Amber hoped for something spectacular, he burped and splattered milk all over himself. To the mother, this was something absolutely amazing, and she giggled gaily before reaching forward and cleaning the boy with her tongue, nuzzling him lovingly in the process and thankfully getting hopefully everything before he turned to his sister. The youngest girl was wiggling her way forward in the direction of the outside world, and Sunny followed suit; the new mother shrugged with an everlasting smile, chuffing for @Grayday to see if he was outside.

Regardless, she stood, tiptoeing over her children and to the entrance -- here, she lay down, allowing the children a small amount of room to walk wiggle around in and see the "outside" world but ultimately keeping them in the entrance. It was too cold at the cusp of Winter for such little potatoes to be outside, Amber felt, but she also wanted them to see as much of the world as they could -- a foot or two outside couldn't hurt.

Dawn watched in awe as her mother stood and moved, plopping down against the ground outside of the den. Though she didn't quite understand how, or why, she chose to follow the black blob into the cooler air of the outdoors. She wasn't very stable in trying to get over to her mother, but the girl was determined to make it, tipping and falling all the way. Once she made it to her mother's side, Dawn gurgled happily as her eyes traced the sky and observed the beauty of the colorful mosaic. A giggle and a gurgle; the cycle continued, until Dawn realized that someone was missing.

The child turned and gazed around in a search for her brother's grey form, before calling to him in small growls. C'mon! It's great out here!

Sunny answered his sister with a small whine of agitation im coming, jeesh!. He scampered and wobbled and stumbled out of the den, and plopped right into his sister knocking them both over. He laughed and began to nibble on her ears, pawing at her playfully with short urgent growls to get her to play. it was then that he realized exactly where they were and he looked around. A small breath left him and he stared at the sky, his eyes squinting at its brightness.

he sniffed the ground which was covered in a small layer of white stuff that felt reaaaally cold. He pawed at it and then pretty much spazzed out, leaping away and roling over rubbing the already melting snow on his muzzle urgently. The stuff had burned his sensitive pink pads, and it had surprised him more than hurt him. The pain went away just as quickly as it had started, and he stared at his paw in confusion. What the hell was that stuff? Repeating the process once more until he finally decided he was bored with the stuff he went after his sister again, this time tackling her and fastening onto her cheek skin, tugging gently.
