Without a clear-cut timeline on the age of this burnt forest, he simply focused on taking it in instead. He, being nosy anyway, he lagged more towards the back of their little trio again--especially while they were more devoted to covering ground. He recalled the random wolves he had met claiming that they had claimed it, but evidently, that had not lasted long enough. His nose traced over the old, faded markers and signs of traffic too. Either way, it was in their favor; they continued on and in these unfamiliar places, he readily followed until they found beach.
