All Welcome
Rosings crew aw! Perhaps @Iliksis?

Temptation had won out in the end. She had waited until the men were off doing something to busy themselves and had scurried off to the borders and away for a while. After about half an hour she came back, running gleefully over the borders with a squirrel between her jaws. She couldn't help the giggles that left her maw, as if she were a pup again delighting in mischief. She had left, wandered alone, and had managed to snatch the little fat beast before it scurried up a tree. She killed it, it's blood flowing into her maw and making her belly rumble. Knowing she would be looked down upon and probably treated poorly if she was caught, she nestled down beneath a tree and quickly began to tear at the prey she had caught with her own jaws for the first time. It somehow tasted even better knowing she had done it alone, without help.

A wild Emmie appears!
Daydreaming, it was what she did when she could not find anything useful to do. Most of the time she would lounge on the large rock that overhung the silver stream but not all of the time, just like now. Instead she had taken to roaming the territory that carried her siblings' markings, moving from the snow and moss covered ground where the trees stood close to the borders. It was then her imagination seemed to fall away, the sight of a pretty thing moving from outside the territory to the shelter of a lone timber.

The petite Odolf tilted her pale skull as she took in the silver agouti form, her nose flared to test her scent to find it was familiar, more than familiar. Slowly she moved to greet the girl that had traveled with her family group. Her head held in the matter of a princess, that was what she was after all, her tail swayed in a friendly matter. she had a very soft smile on her lips though she was not pleased with the fact that the woman left without an escort or the fact she had gone hunting on her own, that was a task for the men and not the women and yet she had done it. She did not just do it, she did it when the men were away from the territory. That was a no no.

"Greetings Lilah," her voice came softly and held a very frendly and sweet tone though there was a hint of reprimanding as she continued. "Do you mind if I join you?"

She was thoroughly enjoying her meal, her tail thumping the ground and ears erect as she munched on the squirrel, that was until the soft tone of a familiar female called her name and she choked on a bite of her prey, coughing and wide eyed as guilt and fear washed over her. She still hacked and coughed until the food lodged in her throat came flying out in a disgusting glob. She stared at it ears slowly going back and sucked in a gasping breath "Em..Emerson no not at all...I..." she looked down at the squirrel and whimpered. "You saw didn't you... I'm sorry. Truly. I know my place and job...I know this isn't it. I was curious...I've never done this before please please don't tell Grayson or Addison" she gushed out the apology looking truly frightened. She truly felt as if her place here relied solely on the Odolf's opinion of her, since it was they that adopted her into Golden Ranch. If Grayson or Addison decided that she no longer fit she would be thrown out on her own and she couldn't survive that.

She was greeted with a choking sounds, for a moment she was afraid for the girl but once she coughed up she gave a sigh of relief. Her words came out in stutters before ending in a whimper, with that the Odolf girl lowered her rump tot he ground before leaning into the now fearful girl. "Thank you," came out softly before more words spewed out of the girl's lips in a hurry.

"Yes, I indeed saw." She confirmed but her voice never raised, instead those kind words held a soft chastise as apologies came next. Begging followed, if she could not tell her sister or her brother. She understood the girl's fascination and curiosity, she had asked many of times if her brothers could take her with them when they hunted and a few times they let her come as long as she promised that all she would do is watch. after that she was assured of her place in the world and it was not where she would kill a living creature though Addison was one of the few that could actually do such a thing.

She gave the girl a smile as her chocolate eyes peered over at the truly frightened girl, she would not tell them is she promised her something. "I will not tell on two conditions," she spoke in her usual soft tone. it was rare for her to raise her voice for it was not proper for a lady but it was clear the reprimand in her tone. "One, you are not to do it again." This was a given, "and two. If the curiosity is to arise again, that you ask my brothers or even my sister to take you along with them the next time they go out on a hunting trip. They might even teach you. It is not proper and shameful to sneak around, especially when the men are away. Do you understand?" Her words had a sharpness to them but they remained delicate and gentle, she was a just princess. Not one to be crude or loud about what she knew was wrong.

Again she smiled before pressing the girl's shoulder with her own, trying to get her to look up at her with those pretty mulberry colored eyes.

Emerson had always been the kindest Odolf she had seen, but to Lilah an Odolf was still an Odolf and if she did something bad enough her tail was on the line. Yet Emerson didn't respond with threats or harsh words, the woman said she wouldn't tell but Lilah had to promise two things. She listened to the conditions of her secret being kept and found them completely understandable. If she ever wanted to leave, the thing to do was to ask one of the men to accompany her like was always taught. The idea of watching Harrison and Grayson hunt was pleasant and she flushed, looking at the ground as if Emerson could read her thoughts "I can do that. It's nothing I shouldn't have already done anyway." she said and lifted her gaze to catch Emerson's smile. She returned it, tail beginning to wag with relief behind her. "Thank you. Would it be alright to finish this, or shall I bury it?" she asked motioning to the squirrel. She never liked to let food go to waste, but she also wasn't quite sure if her finishing it would be considered unladylike.

Worry and fear finally drained from the your female's face, her actions told her that she was embarrassed now though she looked down when Emerson mentioned asking her brothers to take her own their hinting trips. Ah, so she did like her brothers in thay was. The petite Odolf could not blame her, they were the perfect example of when men were. They knew their superiority but did not rub the ladies nose in it unless they forgot their place, they were strong and quite the lookers. A bell like chime trickled out of her throat as the girl looked down, perhaps she had read Lilah's thoughts. She wanted to press the matter on which brother tickles her fancy but she chose not to embarrass her further.

"And, of course, when your husband is chosen. You can ask him to take you out with him, perhaps he will even let you sedate your wants for such things." Okay, maybe a little more embarrassment was called for.

Her ears flickered at the question when their eyes met, she was happy that she finally relaxed. "Please finish your meal, I did not mean for you not to. We wouldn't want the man to find it." That bell like sound was back in her soft voice, "it is quite the catch miss Lilah. Squirrels are quick and tricky devils." She complimented, for this she was simply being honest. They were rather tricky prey to catch, she had seen her brothers fail to snag them many of times when they were pups.

She wondered if Emerson had read her thoughts, as the female giggled as soon as she looked down embarrassed. It caused her to quickly look up again just as the topic of husbands was brought up. She flushed, ears going back and thought about whether Grayson or Harrison would let her dally in hunting. Grayson might, but honestly she could imagine him trying to talk her out of it. Harrison...would probably scoff at the thought and may let her anyway just so say he told her so. She shook her head "I have hopes for who my husband will be, but if i get who i desire they probably won't think it a good idea" she said softly, avoiding Emmie's eyes as she went for the squirrel as soon as she was given permission. She ate it slowly, licking the blood off her maw to keep herself tidy every few bites or so. "I caught him by surprise I think. He was nose deep in a hole and i just went for him" she said shrugging.
