Hushed Willows don't feel like picking up the phone

he is still braced, waiting for the drop of a shoe that isn't going to come, and though he doesn't quite trust the sense of peace he has, the guilt that comes with it is familiar enough that he'll accept it for now. delight thinks of reinvention and rebirth. he thinks of his children that he has lost and holds more tightly to @Brilliance, who he still has, but olive is right: they can only keep trying, keep falling forward, and he knows that no matter what the life that grows within her now will be different.

delight's heart is lighter as he moves throughout the territory, draw curiously toward a scent he doesn't recognize. admittedly, he has done poorly to intergrate himself amongst his packmates -- stepping away from the pressure of leadership (something he's always been poorly suited for) might give him the chance to better get to know the others. so with a determined set to his shoulders the seraph approaches the fellow he spots, taking a seat politely distance, although the urge to join him on his back springs up in him impulsively.

tamping that down, he says, "you look comfortable," a friendliness to his voice he'd thought he'd lost a while ago.
