Haunted Wood Excuse me while I hit that Woah

He snarled as he tasted her blood, a taste he found not entirely unpleasant especially since it meant he had succeeded in inflicting the punishment intended. He had grown too sure of himself, so mindless in his rage and pride that he had forgotten he held no real skill. As she lunged with real intent to do damage he tried to simply step to the side and in turn had his ear yanked, cartilage crunching and ear popping sharply, her fangs sinking through the flesh as the pain stunned him and he yanked instinctively away after first trying to bite at her defensively and failing.  It was clear damage had been done for when he whirled to stared at her with teeth fully bared, eyes wide with pain the ear was flopped over and dripping blood. He lunged and snapped for her but came up empty as he warily stopped short and hopped back clearly trying to decide whether to back down or not.
