Haunted Wood Excuse me while I hit that Woah

Finally a move struck and while it wasn't his, it refueled the fire within him. His eyes watered at the fierce pain that came with having fur ripped out but he held back, not lunging instantly with blind rage this time. Instead he watched her spit the fur out and as she did he went in, jaws aiming to grab hold of any flesh he could and hold on tight. Finally he had luck and as she tried to move out of the way, his jaws closed around the scruff of her neck. He clamped down desperate not to lose grip on what was the third successful attempt he had made to assert himself.
