Haunted Wood Excuse me while I hit that Woah

He had truly thought that he had tricked her but just as the burn of pride warmed him his leg was yanked out from beneath him and the world flipped over as he was pinned down. He wheezed for a moment, ears dropping and body freezing as instinct won over mind and he panted eyes rolling to look at her. He couldn't move and though he bared his fangs, he lay his head flat on the dirt and went limp so she would know he was done all the while staring daggers in her direction intermittently.
