Haunted Wood and now i am going to kill you too

said danger was smaller than him by a few inches, but no less determined. the girl's path is aimless until she finds the foreign scent, young and male. it takes her only a moment to realize it is that of a trespasser; she makes it her business to know those who enter and pass from their borders. 

she moves at a clip after him, low and hungry, in the same way she'd gone after the coyote a few days prior. when his hindquarters come into view, she launches smoothly into a pounce, silent in her approach. her fangs seek the sensitive skin around his hocks, the fragile bones and tendons there. should her viper-like attack hit his target, she'll inflict as much damage as possible with thashing muzzle and quick fangs.
