oops. no way was today getting less crazy, not if i was posting with pike.
pike was kind of patrolling. he promised their parents that he would practice and keep the pack safe -- but it seemed like the borders were the least of their concern. like... what was he gonna do about the stupid earth shaking? yell at it? well, he'd already tried that and it hadn't worked. so he was kind of out of options. but he spotted spook coming the opposite direction and got real excited, his tail wiggling and a waggling.

HEY!he yelled out to his brother, skidding to a halt and turning so they could face the same direction.
why'd'ya look so grumpy?he asked, half concerned half making fun of him.
