Flashes of them and her children spending their lives together filled her mind, and she smiled. Suddenly, she had something else she wanted to ask him, something she didn't think she could hold in. What about kids? she asked quietly. I'd like to have more...would you? She knew it was a big step, and she would understand if he had reservations. But she really hoped he would say yes.
