Blacktail Deer Plateau done more in days than done in months

the competition was no longer fun. ying was having a crisis, aningan couldn't breathe — it was time to call it quits. she heard his distress and turned to face him, concern clear on her expression. you okay? she asked, taking a step closer. 

she stopped before getting too close and bit nervously at the inside of her cheek. she had an idea, but wasn't sure that he would like it...

ying grabbed the fish from her collection and dropped them with aningan's. she counted them — ...two, three, four... — before saying, we have six now. we both win. she didn't mind having to share the victory. 

well, no- okay, ying did mind. she hated that she hadn't been able to prove herself but thought that it didn't matter because they'd accomplished exactly what they'd set out to do! time, spent with one another, just dudes being dudes.
