Yami supressed a frown at the quetion Aerasha asked. She really didn't know what a second one? Had she never been part of a pack before? Perhaps the terminology had just confused her. Moonspear hadn't had a position they'd referred to as a second. They'd had a beta. Hadn't Kiwi's pack called it a regent?
"Second-in-command," Yami said, attempting to clarify, "The beta or whatever. Basically it means when Kiwi's not around, I run the show." There was a notable stroke of pride in her tone before it turned to a question. "They not have a position like that in... whatever pack you came from?"
