Northstar Vale Greying Tower alone on the sea

They were in this together, it would seem that with their close relationship and proximity to each other might have been the factor. She had heard about two women going through a heat spell together, or had she seen it first hand? there were two lovers, what were their names? Emica and.. she could not remember. 

Instead she pushed her body against her friend, it seemed to relax her and cause the fire to grow within her. How strange, this reaction. She gave a soft humming sound as she remained pressed against her, did this reaction translate to the white goddess as well or was she alone in these feelings? Her ears fell then, what if she was the only one that felt this way, now that Takashi was here.. He disrupted the harmony the Trio had experienced, Reiko, she, and Yuudai. Yuudai was no longer allowed. She gave a slight growl before stopping it a few seconds too late. 

How unladylike.

The smell began to emanate from Hiromi as well, almost immediately as Reiko felt her own kick in, that familiar scent grew stronger now that both women were in heat together. It made her flush at the thought they were synchronized. It wasn't uncommon, she too had heard of this happening before - but never did she think she would see it, nor be a part of it so soon. 

A soft growl coming from Hiromi stole Reiko's attention away from the birds outside and onto her friend, eyes searching the champagne for an answer as she spoke to her softly, nuzzling under Hiromi's chin to try and calm her. Is something bothering you? Other than the obvious, of course.

yep, she had not caught her growl of displeasure in time. Well that was just great, she had to get herself together. What was she going to do, growl at everyone that looked at Reiko? Wait, why was she thinking this way? The girl shook her head only to stop her movements when she touched her, nuzzling under her chin in a comforting gesture. 

What was bothering her, well the man she was betrothed to. Why did that old tie have to stand now that their parents were no longer of this world, what carry did it have here? Did her friend even like him, or was she just being nice and allowing him to take the role he was promised when they were children?  "It is nothing.. except.." she closed her champagne colored eyes as she took in a deep breath, holding back another growl.  "Do you like Takashi?" There she asked, finally.

Patiently she waited for Hiromi to speak, head tilting slightly to one side as she continued to search Mimi's face for a clue. Then it finally came - her question struck the soon to be empress of the vale and immediately her eyes fell to the ground, ears flattening upon her crown as she searched for her own words. 

How could she explain? She was honoring her parents by keeping him around, hoping that the man would forget their previous engagement and simply linger until she chose a mate for herself - and maybe move on, or find someone new for himself. If I am to be honest... She spoke softly, not wanting for him to overhear and come barging in. No. I do not.

 

She love this feeling, it was strange how her touch could be ice and fire all in the same breath. Every place her nose nuzzled, even the tilt of her head, gave a cooling effect to the fire in her abdomen but then it was traced with heat. Her cheeks warmed, even as she spoke the man's name with withheld growling.

She reacted, her movements still, her ears fell. Ah, well that was an answer in itself. Then the words came and now it was her turn to comfort her friend, she ran her nose against her ears, gave a tentative kiss between those ears. "..then why?" she murmured into her fur, "why is he still here? Why is he allowed to comtrol.." she wanted to just say you but he was, in a way, controlling her as well. Yuudai would be next to them if he hadn't been..

While Hiromi groomed her fur and nipped at her ears, Reiko placed her head back onto her paws, resting her chin on the appendages while she took as much joy out of Hiromi's attention as she possibly could despite the conversation at hand. Her eyes were filled with sorrow, a slight pain at the thought. 

He was already tearing them apart, Reiko missed Yuudai's presence more and more, and now with her heat in bloom, she thought about him more so now than ever. Never would she admit that she desired him more so than just a friend, not now, it wasn't right; but no matter how hard she fought it, the desire was there none the less. The desire for a man's touch, to satisfy a new need that burned within her... 

But there was also Takeshi, an ever-looming presence. Certainly, if she were to come across him at this time, it would spell the end of it all, especially if she were caught looking for Yuudai or any other man knowing him.

It would be against our code. A new beginning, where everyone has a fresh start... and - She loathed the words that would soon come after. It would fulfill my parent's wishes. Even in their passing, perhaps she could honor them by at least keeping Takeshi around... to give him a chance. She couldn't come around to marrying the man, she hoped he'd move on from that at least. I can only hope he forgot about our betrothal.

Grooming, that was something her had always loved to do when the princess and she were simply talking about, well, everything. Sometimes it was Reiko grooming her, helping the flower look as presentable as she could next to a beauty like the heir. it was the best way to keep her from being idle, from looking as if she was being lazy but this time it was comfort and her want for touch. It was comical that this soothed her even when the burning inside her was just starting to flair, a dragon awakening, longing for the touch of a man..

This caused her thoughts to shift, to drift as the dragon shifted, started to uncoil. She wondered where the ivory samurai was, she was curious if he would come if she called. With a shake of her head she came back to the topic at hand, another soft rumble seemed bubble in her chest at her empress's explanation. He was allowed a fresh start as well but this was not a fresh start, this was falling back into an old pattern but as soon as the mention of her parents game the growl died. Faded out as she nuzzled the woman she was tangled around.

"That is not a fresh start." she stated her thoughts before a scoff came, "Yeah, it seemed like he has forgotten all about it."

I have faith. She said softly, whether or not she believed that herself was uncertain. It was quite possible that her trust was misplaced in the clan man's paws, but only time would tell if she was wrong. As the pain grew in her abdomen, she appreciated the grooming more so now than ever before - to look better than she felt was always good enough to carry through her day with a mask of pleasantries instead of sorrow.

Hiromi's growls were still audible, stinging her ears as the flower continued to protest their new companion within their walls. Of course she was right, but oh how Reiko hoped she wasn't. That would be the best-case scenario, yes? Even if he hasn't changed much. If he had forgotten about it all then the Empress would be free from those shackles and free to chose any suitor who would take her as theirs. No longer would the shadows of her parents loom over her choice.
